Team Banzai, one of 40 teams from around the country to advance to the national semi-finals of the 2005 DARPA Grand Challenge, developed “Dora” — the world’s first fully-autonomous vehicle driven by Mac OS X. The team’s entire development and race management efforts use Apple Mac OS X technology.

My New PowerMac G5

I finally upgraded to a PowerMac G5. The G4 went to the girls! It has been a pure joy using the G5. It has Dual 2GHz CPUs, 2.5GB of Memory, 160GB Disk Drive, and a CD/DVD burner. I am running two 19 inch monitors - which gives me a rather large desktop. The design is very clean. I opened box to add the new RAM - the tasks could not be any easier.
